Accomplishment

Some might find it sad that I consider going a whole day with out taking a nap a major milestone.  Not this guy.  Today marks the first time in as far back as I can even remember  that I wasn’t knocked out at around two o’clock in the afternoon.  Granted, I did have somewhere between four and six coffee’s with a Red Bull thrown in for good measure (Sugar free mind you).  But even that little bit of “cheating” isn’t gonna keep me from bragging about my one truly full day of productivity.  Ya know, now that I think about it, being productive is probably where all this sense of accomplishment stems from -_- BUT that wouldn’t happen with out being awake now would it? I just started my own lame version of “the chicken or the egg debate…”

Next project: The coffee table in my living room has had a leg broken for the majority of the year and a half I’ve been in my apartment. The geek side of me can’t think of a better excuse to tackle this cool little floppy disk project. What’s more, it can partner up with ma manly side (ya know, building things and such)so that more than one of my personalities can walk away with a sense of accomplishment. Holycool, holycool.net

Sparx case for iPhone 5 makes use of the iPhone’s LED flash notifications feature which uses the camera’s flash to alert for calls, text, emails and other notifications. With Sparx, your phone will flash and glow in a color of your choice, making…

…and these are exactly the kind of ideas I get daily. Maybe if I would act on just one I wouldn’t get frustrated seeing someone else did.

Very rarely

do i find myself inspired anymore.  That’s an unnerving reality given that, in theory, I’m living the part of life where inspiration is supposed to flow through me on a daily basis.  Often times i’m told (mostly by middle-aged men) that I have life by the balls.  It’s not an elegant saying but I won’t sit here and try to pretend that I am, by any means, either.  But I get it, I’m at an advantage.  At least when compared to the countless other “parents” I graduated with in 2006. Six years it’s been already.  And in that time, even after (LUCKILY) falling into a great job, surrounding myself with amazing people, and traveling just a little bit, I still feel that I haven’t REALLY started living just yet.  I woke up one morning and realized that I’m on this daily journey lately; to find a real purpose, a passion even!  What keeps depression out of the equation is this overwhelming feeling that I’m on the right track.  That I haven’t been closer to figuring something, even if it is a little thing, out.  Yea, inspiration is hard to come by lately, but great minds…and optimists…tell me it can strike at any time!
